Welcome to the ENGI-NERDS Website!!!!

Today we are trying to split into groups to make our engineering notebook and design a robot to fit our competition needs. Some of our teammates have read the game rules and have turned in papers that have lists of things we could do in the competition to get the most points and to get some awards.-Carlos Salinas

On your left you can obviously see today we got a group photo. We did it around the end of class so we would get in the way of getting things done during class. Anyway, today before the builders started cutting, they took a safety test. Like, get on a computer and get a hundred or you don't get to cut wood test. So you weren't allowed to cut wood with these grades:
90
80
70.
You could only cut with this grade: 100 not 99.99 just 100.00s. But still safety first. The programmers are getting close to getting the program done. The problem is that there is no one with experience even this far in the competition. There is no going back, we still have to compete. Sadly, for us some of us, five people don't do anything. So by Friday they will have them doing something. Along with the builder's test and the programmer's program, they have to take a pledge saying they will not take drugs. Yes, its red ribbon week and we are aware of our group member's health. Without them we would be nothing.

Today I woke up around 8:30 to get working on the website. I did a bunch of changes. I edited the mobile version of the website, also changed the picture headers, changed the text on the group members page. I added an external page, then started working on the blog. I even made a QR code and put it on the website.

I’m getting the builders organized. Programmers are now on standby. Bethanie has started the logo. But sadly she forgot to share the design. As the builders are working they are brainstorming ways to make a gear. They finished the design and want to make a gear. Carlos used the twelve inch ruler and started from the center to make a circle right now it looks like this: https://docs.google.com/drawings/d/sPnRDqQIMw8HHQQwqqYthmA/image?w=179&h=177&rev=33&ac=1

Today we got the group photo. I don't have it on the site yet only because I haven't uploaded it yet. The Builders are getting to the point of actually putting the robot together. They had a few issues when it came to reviewing the final design. Luckily Mr. Ohman stepped in and put out the "fire" before it got worse. Chariot, Morgan Freeman 2, and Marina are working on sketching the Enginerds logo, While Emerson is progressing on the programming for the control for the robot game.

Today i took pictures of people faces so they can go on the website(one day i know i will have a photography life). I only got the pictures of the people who are allowed on the website. Though some of the people were not allowed so they had changed their name and they wanted this:
Holy Chariot
Morgan Freeman 1
Morgan Freeman 2
I have started on a plan that we can also use as a group photo. The Builders are still working on the gears. and the programmers are working on the program.

We all had benchmark for reading and they wanted us to instead of going to our 8th period classes we had to go to our 1st period class instead. The only one who was actually able to go to robotics was Holy Chariot who was working on the website. I came in to ask what happened and that was what i was told. The website wasn't up yet so Mr. Ohman authorized me the right of making a website on this account.

Cae and Bailey are helping Emerson program. JP is in charge of jobs. Emerson is giving the programmers a job. Kaven is finding a program that will print out a copy of gears. So when it comes to cutting it out, print, a pile of wood, gears, done….

Bethanie is still working on the logo and the design for the hats. It been going well but she still forgot to share the design again… Well any way the Emerson is tried his hardest to get the program up and running. We had a few team issues but they were resolved by assigning different roles.

The Builders have started finally getting to the design of the base so when the robot is ready We reviewed how to make ICs and went over awards. We made sure to show people what team they were on in case we forgot. Journey shared the draft site exe-file. this is the link: https://docs.google.com/a/neisd.net/file/d/0B3VoJXd7xAOBMk1nUXVpdk9jdjA/edit?usp=sharing. He finished working on the gripper in draft site with Esteban. outside, the builders are working on the building design.
